There is an in-room safe, for which you are instructed to use your key card to help set a personal four-digit combination. The room was well-furnished, providing a desk, chairs, ample drawer space, two closets, a fridge, coffee facilities, and ice-bucket (ice machine down the hall). Other than at the room entrance, lighting was provided only by a few scattered lamps - none of them easily accessible from the beds – so a flashlight would come in handy if you expect to get up from bed in the dark. Temperature control worked well, and the housekeeping service was excellent. My accommodations on the sixth floor offered no view to speak of, but the room was large and well-maintained and the beds were quite comfortable. On the upside, that remote entrance is the designated place to wait for transport pickups, and it offers several benches located just outside the doors for use by waiting passengers. Even finding the registration area was a bit of a chore when I first entered the hotel, since the airport shuttle I took drops off passengers at the ride-share/valet parking entrance, situated in a part of the property some distance from the front desk, with no visible navigation clues to the location of the reception area. The best-functioning service in the reception area was actually the concierge desk, whose personnel proved to be quite helpful in providing information, recommendations, and directions. Upon departure, manual late-morning checkout was equally slow.

Upon arrival, mid-morning check-in took more time than it should have, with only two desk clerks available at reception to accommodate the long lines, perhaps because the hotel expected a larger percentage of its guests to use automated methods of registration. I stayed three nights at the Paris Las Vegas attending a conference in mid-July, and I was generally satisfied with the location, room, restaurants, and meeting accommodations, despite a few minor glitches.
